Terms of Service

Last updated: May 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of Eidra. They're written in plain language so you actually know what you're agreeing to. If anything's unclear, email eidra.app@gmail.com.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Eidra, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Eidra.

2. The service

Eidra is a personal-memory iOS app for capturing voice or text notes about people you meet, with AI-assisted extraction, search, and briefings.

3. Your account

You sign in with Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you're at least 13 years old (Eidra isn't intended for children under 13). You may not impersonate someone else or use Eidra under multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and free trials

Eidra offers two paid plans — Eidra Casual and Eidra Business — sold as auto-renewing monthly subscriptions through the Apple App Store.

5. What you can store in Eidra

You can store notes about your own life and the people in it. You may not use Eidra to:

You're responsible for the content you put into Eidra and for complying with the laws of the jurisdiction you're in.

6. Your content

The notes, transcripts, and structured data you create in Eidra are yours. We don't claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the service to you (and only to you). We don't share your content with third parties except as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. AI processing

Eidra uses third-party AI services (Anthropic, Google AI) to transcribe audio, extract structured fields, and generate briefings. These services may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected output. Eidra is a memory aid — it's not a substitute for verified information. Don't rely on Eidra's output for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

8. Service availability

We aim for Eidra to work reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may need to take the service down for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen reasons. We're not liable for losses caused by downtime.

9. Disclaimers

Eidra is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eidra is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You may stop using Eidra and delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms (e.g. abuse, illegal use). On termination, your data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app and update the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use Eidra after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't accept them, delete your account.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
